1. What we collect

Shtreimel Weather only collects information you choose to provide. That includes:

• Optional pickup details — your name, phone number, email, and pickup address. All four are optional. We only ask for them when you schedule a shtreimel pickup.
• Push notification token — a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token used to deliver the weekly notification.
• Default location preference — the city you selected so the app opens to the right ruling.
• Approximate location (optional, opt-in only) — if, and only if, you choose “Allow” on the app's location screen or turn on “Auto-detect my location” in Settings, the app reads your approximate (coarse) device location once per app open to select the nearest city. It is used immediately on the device to pick a city and is not stored, not tracked in the background, and never shared. Declining or turning the toggle off stops all location use; the app works fully without it.
• Basic analytics — anonymous usage events (which screens opened, whether a pickup request was sent) via Firebase Analytics, plus crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics. These do not include your name, address, or pickup details.

2. How we use it

Your phone, email, and address are used only to coordinate shtreimel pickup with Klein Shtreimel. We do not sell or share your information with any third party for marketing. Analytics and crash reports help us understand which features work and fix bugs.

3. Who can see it

Klein Shtreimel staff can view the customer information you submit through the app to fulfill pickup requests. No other party has access.

4. Where data lives

App data is stored in Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics), on Google Cloud servers in the United States. Pickup request messages sent via WhatsApp travel through Meta's WhatsApp servers under their own privacy terms.

5. Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated information at any time from Settings → About → Delete my account. Account deletion permanently removes your name, phone, email, address, push token, and any preferences. This action cannot be undone.

If you prefer to make the request manually, email us at the address below and we will delete your information within 30 days.
